Tématem kroužku budou zkameněliny a minerály - prozkoumáte jich spoustu. Čekají vás dlouhodobé i krátkodobé experimenty, práce v laboratoři, v terénu i samostatné úkoly.
Kurz je určen pro zájemce o neživou přírodu z pohledu mineralogicko-petrografického a paleontologického. Účastníci se v jeho průběhu budou seznamovat se základními pojmy v těchto oborech, vyzkouší si jednoduché metody a fyzikální pokusy na rozpoznávání minerálů, budou si smět prohlédnout laboratoře, kde se provádí na příklad výzkum minerálů, a nahlédnou do procesů, jakými minerály vznikají, proč jsou minerály barevné, jak vypadají ve speciálním mikroskopu apod.
V paleontologické části se studenti dozví veškeré důležité i zajímavé informace o paleontologii samotné, fosilizačních procesech, hledání zkamenělin a různých perličkách v průběhu času od nejstarších jednobuněčných organismů, přes první obratlovce, rozvoj života i rozsáhlá vymírání, až po komplexní vývoj našeho druhu. Každá lekce bude proložena jednotlivými aktivitami. Přínosem pro studenty tak nebudou pouze nové informace, ale také pracovní sešit s výstupy, různorodé fosilie a modely. Na konci kurzu proběhne praktická část přímo v terénu, kde si studenti mohou sami najít fosilie a minerály a vyzkoušet si tak práci geologa, mineraloga a paleontologa v praxi.
Termín: 1 x měsíčně v úterý od 15:30 do 17:30 hodin
